Specific SA Information

The dairy industry in South Australia faces its own set of challenges relating to climate variability, climate change and rising energy/fertiliser prices. Though the feedbase challenges vary greatly across the State, overall, the feedbase is dominated by purchased concentrates, though perennial ryegrass and annual grass based pastures make major contributions. These challenges are explored though, farmer case studies, FRDS virtual events, and information about potential on-farm responses.
